I'm running out of ideas - at this point I'm really thinking of giving up on Photos 4 Mac and yes: I've read all the articles in this forum concerning the issues (manually adjusting every photo via "Image:Adjust Date/Time. - removed all EXIF Tags present in one working photo but not in others not working, no way.- changed timestamp after noting that those ending up in the wrong TZ (usually my home TZ Vienna or some with no TZ set at all) were taken after 12 a.m., delete Photos Lib.- copied GPS position from good to bad, delete Photos Lib, re-import all, no change.I'm running the latest and greatest version of MacOs Mojave and have come to the conclusion that this can only be a bug in Photos for Mac - here is what I've tried so far: So far I've tracked this down to different pix from the iPhone where some are showing the proper TimeZone after import and some don't - only need to find the difference in one more of the EXIF Tags and you got it, right? Wrong? After a recent vacation in Hawaii and photos from 3 different cameras to import (iPhone6s, Canon EOS M6, Canon EOS 5D Mark IV) im running into the - well described TimeZone problem (photos NOT in order of time taken).īeing quite good with Phil Harvey's exiftool I thought I'd get to the bottom of this.
